Originating from the sunny southern city of Nice, Chef Sabila Boodhonee's baking journey began in a childhood kitchen, where a passion for French technique and the art of layering flavors blossomed. After completing school in France, she ventured to the UK, earning a BSc in Earth and Planetary Sciences. Despite a fascination with the universe, her heart remained in the kitchen, crafting exquisite patisseries.
In 2008, she took a bold step, moving to the US to attend the International Art Institute of Culinary Art. There, under the guidance of world-renowned chefs, she discovered a profound passion for chocolate. The intricate process of combining flavors, textures, and visual artistry in chocolate became her true calling.
With over ten years of expertise in chocolate making, Chef Sabila Boodhonee has consulted for top brands across three continents, sharing her unique blend of science, travel, art, and family.
